Alabama’s Answers

This new updated edition of “Alabama’s Answers” will guide potential small business owners through everything it takes to start a business here in Alabama.

This partnership publication’s 16th edition will be an invaluable resource for business owners, focusing on the pre-requisites and compliance aspects needed to start and keep up with a small business in Alabama.

What’s in the primer?

The chapters in the comprehensive primer address a variety of issues including:

  • financial feasibility
  • creating a business plan
  • choosing a legal structure
  • taxes and financing
  • direction to most city, state and federal forms needed to start a business in Alabama

In a statement on the Alabama Department of Commerce’s website, Program Manager Eddie Postell explained the necessity for something like this in our state.

“Alabama’s small businesses and entrepreneurs need the correct information and resources to start and grow their businesses. Alabama Answers helps the would-be entrepreneur transition their business ideas into a successful business.”

Eddie Postell, Program Manager of the Alabama Department of Commerce’s Office of Small Business Advocacy
