Dothan Area Botanical Gardens

  • Where: 5130 Headland Ave, Dothan, AL
  • When: March 27-28, 9AM-4PM
  • Details: In Dothan, they are focusing on native azaleas and other native plants that thrive in the Wiregrass and are wildlife and pollinator-friendly. They will also offer a variety of bedding!

Mobile County Master Gardeners

  • Where: Mobile Botanical Gardens, 5151 Museum Dr, Mobile, AL 36608
  • When: March 28, 9AM-2PM
  • Details: Here, you can find plants grown to thrive in the Gulf Coast climate. There will be 4-inch pots for $3, food vendors, gardening tools demonstrations, and a gift shop open.

Huntsville Botanical Gardens

  • Where: 4747 Bob Wallace Avenue
Huntsville, AL 35805
  • When: April 10 8AM- 6:30PM, April 11 8AM-4PM, April 12 8AM-4PM
  • Details: They will be offering a selection of annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, herbs, fruits, vegetables, and cultivars propagated from Huntsville Botanical Garden’s collection. They will also feature native plants!

Ruffner Mountain Plant Sale

  • When: Every Saturday at 10AM beginning on April 11
  • Details: At Ruffner Mountain, they specialize in native plants with colorful blooms. Their plants are seasonal and adapt well to the native environment.

  • Details: With experienced volunteers, this yearly event will feature a variety of native plants! Additionally, they offer trees and shrubbery to develop your landscape.

  • Details: Join the Master Gardeners of Chilton County at their plant sale for a variety of plants, including vegetables and herbs. They will have volunteer Master Gardeners to assist!

  • Details: Several types of wildflowers and herbs will be offered. Cullman County’s Plant Sale features were propagated by The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (Alabama A&M University and Auburn University).

  • Details: Bring your wagons to fill with plants at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens Plant Sale. There will also be plenty of native plants grown to thrive in Birmingham!

  • Where: Florence Farmer’s Market, 451 Fairground Rd, Florence, AL
  • When: April 24, 7:30AM-6PM; April 25, 7:30AM-1:30PM
  • Details: There is a wide selection of plants and vegetables available at Shoals Master Gardeners’ plant sales. Small starter plants are priced at $2-$3 each.

Longleaf Botanical Gardens

  • Details: Hosted at the Anniston Museum of Natural History, a beautiful variety of azaleas, camellias, bushes, and trees will be featured. Longleaf Botanical Gardens also features many native plants.
