The readers of Condé Nast Traveler, the world renown travel publication, have named two Alabama hotels to their 2023 25 Best Hotels in the South list.

Details about the two hotels
The Admiral
Even though The Admiral is in the midst of a year long property wide renovation, it was still named to the best in the South list.
Located at 251 Government Street in the heart of downtown Mobile’s entertainment district, the hotel has hosted guests ranging from Bob Hope to Elvis Presley. It is also one of the most convenient locations to stay during Mardi Gras season.
Built in 1940, the luxurious hotel has 156 guest rooms, an outdoor pool, extensive meeting spaces and an on-site restaurant.
The Admiral’s “facelift” is expected to be completed in early 2024, just in time to welcome the world to the home of the first Mardi Gras.
106 Jefferson
The Bama Buzz’s sister publication—Hville Blast— describes Downtown Huntsville’s 106 Jefferson best:
