2 new Crumbl Cookies locations making their way to Alabama soon
Reading time: 2 minutes
Some people think they’re overrated, others wait eagerly for the new flavors of the week. However you feel about Crumbl Cookies, there’s no doubt about its popularity with new locations popping up all over the place. Birmingham and Montgomery are set to have the sweet treat spots open soon. Read on for details.
A sweet history
How did this cookie empire get started? Cousin duo Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley started Crumbl in 2017 in Logan, Utah.
They stuck with the classics in the beginning, only serving fresh chocolate chip cookies. Since then, Crumbl has rocketed into popularity as one of the most in-demand bakeries in the country. With over 300 bakeries in 36 different states, it’s safe to say business is booming.
This shop is unique because of their gourmet flavors that rotate weekly. When you stop by the shop, you can pick up a cookie flight and find a new fave. Take this week’s flavors for example:
- Classic Pink Sugar
- Confetti Cake
- Cookie Butter Ice Cream
- Milk Chocolate Chip
- Peanut Butter Brownie
- Triple Berry Cobbler
Remember, there’s something new to try every week. First time triers should expect a rich, very sweet cookie, often with frosting on top.
2 new locations
Crumbl is expanding with two new locations in Alabama, so you just might be getting one near you.
According to WSFA12, you can find Montgomery’s new Crumbl location in the Zelda Place shopping center by Publix. The publication reports that owners Vanessa and Christopher Arias are planning to open their doors on June 9 at 8AM.
The fourth Birmingham-area location is also on the way, with Crumbl opening a new shop along Hwy 280. According to a post in Facebook group Friends of Hwy 280, the shop will be near KidStrong and La-Z-Boy in Greystone.
