A new boxing-inspired gym and a pilates studio are coming to Tuscalooosa, and one boxing gym—that celebrities reportedly love—is coming to Auburn. Here’s the scoop.
1. Battle Republic Tuscaloosa
Battle Republic—a Birmingham favorite—is coming to Tuscaloosa this fall. The founders, Leah Drury and Lindsey Miller, have deep roots in the Tuscaloosa area, so it’s only natural that they bring their boxing-inspired fitness concept to T-town.
Combining high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and strength training with boxing inspiration, Battle Republic has created a fun and upbeat way to workout. Plus, they always have a top-notch playlist.

2. Club Pilates Tuscaloosa
The world’s largest Pilates brand, Club Pilates, is coming to T-town, and just in time for back-to-school season. Using special equipment—including “reformers”—Club Pilates offers a range of classes, challenges and experiences.

3. Rumble Boxing Auburn
According to People, celebrities like Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner are fans of the boxing gym franchise that just opened its first Alabama location in Auburn/Opelika. Rumble Gym is known for their 45-minute class that combines boxing and resistance training—”10 rounds, 2 fists, ZERO experience necessary.”
