2025 April Walking Tours: A journey through Alabama

This April, join local community leaders and volunteers on a series of free walking tours that explore the rich historical and cultural landscapes of Alabama.
These two-hour-long tours will be held every Friday throughout the month, offering visitors a chance to experience the vibrant arts, heritage, and charm of various cities around Alabama.
Tour Dates + Details

The Alabama walking tours will begin at 10AM on April 5, 12, 19, and 26. Each tour offers a unique exploration of a city’s historical sites, art and culture, making for a perfect weekend outing. Here are the cities participating in the 2025 April Walking Tours, along with their starting locations:
April 5
- Florence: Walnut St. Historic District
- Huntsville: Alabama Constitution Hall Park
- Montevallo: Bicentennial Park
- Springville: Springville City Museum
April 12
- Attalla: Museum of Attalla
- Athens-Limestone County: Athens Limestone Visitors Center/Big Spring Memorial Park
- Elba: Elba Chamber of Commerce
