3 Alabama cities named to Livability’s Top 100 places to live in the U.S.

Livability.com released its annual list of top 100 places to live across the country + three Alabama cities made the list including one in the top 20.
And there’s not much surprise to which spots made the list. Our state was represented by:

- Huntsville | Rank: 87 | LivScore: 674
- Auburn | Rank: 91 | LivScore: 666

Auburn
Auburn is no stranger to being on these type of lists. Just a few months ago, the city was listed as the No. 5 place to live in America by a USA Today study.
Livability ranked Auburn just inside the top 100. The site breaks down eight different categories to create a LivScore for each city. Here’s how Auburn ranked, out of 100, in each category:

Huntsville has made the list for the second time, with the city’s schools, cost of living and outdoor opportunities and amenities highlighted as the city’s strengths.

Hoover
Hoover was the highest ranked Alabama city on the list, sitting at No. 15 overall on Livability’s list.
