Huntsville, have you been downtown recently? If so, I’m sure you noticed the putting greens placed around the Downtown Square. Keep reading for all the deets on the 2021 Downtown Open.

You can thank the Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate Group for this downtown event. From September 23-October 3, you can enjoy putt-putt no matter the time.

You can find putters, balls and scorecards at Honest Coffee Roasters, Green Bus Brewing and BeeZr. This way, you can grab everything you’ll need to play in the Downtown Open in the morning, in the afternoon and at night.

You can even grab a cup of coffee or a purple cup while you play.

2. The event is free

This event is free. Yes, you read that correctly.

Whether you’re on a lunch break, looking for a date night idea or needing some fun family time, the Downtown Open is the perfect choice.

The Downtown Open promotes outdoor events and physically distanced activities. This is exactly what we need right now, especially with the fall weather greeting us.

3. Sponsored by Huntsville businesses

There are 30 holes around the Downtown Square. Each putting green is sponsored by a Huntsville business and decorated to match.

Check out a few of the sponsoring businesses:

Which are you looking forward to seeing? My favorite is Port of Huntsville’s. With flamingos, planes and postcards, it makes me want to book a flight to somewhere warmer!

Check out this map to find all 30 holes.

Huntsville, show us your favorite putting green at the 2021 Downtown Open by tagging @thebamabuzz on social.
