Spring in Alabama is in full swing and summer is quickly approaching. What better way to take advantage of the beautiful weather than camping at an Alabama State Park? Keep reading for 3 reasons you must to take a trip to the new campground at Cathedral Caverns.

It is so easy to secure your spot at the new campground. Reservations are simple to make online and recommended to make sure you get the perfect spot! While you’re at it, the new reservation tool allows you to book your stay at any Alabama State Park all from the same website. Looks like we’ve made our summer plans!
3. Convenient location
The Cathedral Caverns location is perfect for anybody in your group. The campgrounds are a short drive from Lake Guntersville, Monte Sano, Desoto andΒ Buckβs Pocket State Parks, Scottsboro and Huntsville.
You can catch a Trash Pandas game, take a break from the outdoors with a good cocktail or grab a coke float from Payne’s. The opportunities are endless. For $5 a night, you might want to extend your stay…so many places to see (and eat, duh)!
