1. Local Artisans: Made with Love
Looking for the perfect gift for your mom, grandma or sister? Look no further, the River Market features over 10 artesian booths. They offer anything from candles to soaps to jewelry. The booth we’d like to highlight is the Earth Works Jewelry booth. You can’t ever go wrong with beautifully made jewelry. They hand-make necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more. Pictured above, you’ll see an array of crystals and teas that will satisfy all of your down to earth dreams.
2. All of the sweet treats
For all my people with a sweet tooth, this is the spot for you. Between baked goods, cheesecake, breads and more you’ll leave with your hands full (I know I did). If you prefer more savory foods, don’t worry, they also offer pork skins, pickles and specialty popcorn. Made with love, That Cheesecake by Tammy Smith will leave you coming back for more and more. She offers pickup and preordered cheesecakes sold whole or by the quarter. Come get your white chocolate cheese cake made from scratch!
3. Tuscaloosa’s Farm Fresh Produce
Nothing gets better than farm fresh produce. With over 20 booths the Tuscaloosa River Market offers fresh peaches, tomatoes, cucumbers and so much more. Reinvest in your community, reduce your environmental impact and enjoy fresher and tastier produce. While you’re at it, grab a coffee to sip as you support your local farmers! The City of Tuscaloosa believes that everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy, local foods. With this being said, they accept payments from a variety of food assistance programs.
