The 4th of July (one of our very favorite holidays) is quickly approaching, this Saturday to be exact! It can be so much fun to celebrate the independence of our great American country in the Auburn-Opelika area. So, we have found and highlighted 4 things you can do to celebrate Independence Day all weekend long.

1. Heart of Waverly BBQ

  • When: July 3rd, gates open at 11 AM & music starts at 12:30 PM
  • Where: The Standard Deluxe yard | 1015 Mayberry Ave, Waverly AL 36879
  • Cost: $50 for adults (but hey, kids under 14 get in for free!)

Nothing says celebrating our Independence more to me than eating some good old fashion BBQ with friends or family. Luckily, The Heart of Waverly BBQ will be held on July 3rd at the Standard Deluxe. There will be amazing live music and yummy local BBQ from Butcher Paper, but make sure to BYOC (bring your own chair, to clarify).
