Did you know that the Auburn area has 3 adorable bed & breakfasts to stay at? There is something so unique and special about staying at a local B&B over a big hotel. So, we have found and highlighted 3 must-visit Bed & Breakfasts in the Auburn area.

1. Crenshaw Guest House

  • Where: 371 North College Street, Auburn, AL 36830
  • Rates: Starts at $179/night

This quaint B&B is right outside of downtown Auburn in the best location. The Crenshaw Guest House has 8 perfect rooms to choose from. Each one is unique and named after an Auburn icon.

The house is full of history (music to my ears), as it was originally built in 1890! I think this is what I picture in my mind when I think of an adorable B&B.

2. Heritage House

  • Where: 714 2nd Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801
  • Rates: Starting at $114.75/night

This beautiful building was built in 1913, and it has been passed around from owner to owner ever since. In 2020, a couple bought the house and continued it as the Bed & Breakfast it is today.

Heritage House has 5 perfect rooms to pick from, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. It is in Opelika’s Historic District, which is a very short drive from Auburn! The house is so full of grandeur, as you can see, yet also humble at the same time.

3. Auburn Bed & Breakfast

  • Rates: Starting at $180/night

Auburn Bed & Breakfast is the perfect combination of a rustic farm retreat and a boutique, upscale experience. It is at the Shoofly Farm in Waverly, Alabama, which is only a quick distance away from Auburn. They have 7 cute suites, or cottages, to choose between (I would, personally, pick the Sugar Shack Private Cottage because of its fun name).

If you have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast, I encourage you to do so. It is such a fun experience, and it feels good to support local places like these. Whether you are from Auburn or just passing through, these 3 Bed & Breakfasts are definitely must-visit spots!
