5 affordable ideas for your next Girls Night Out in Huntsville
I value the time I get with my gal pals. You don’t have to break the bank to make fun memories. Here are five affordable ideas for your next GNO in Huntsville. Each under $50. Read on.
1. Thrift shopping
Shop with a theme. Pick out outfits for each one. Thrift stores are so fun to hunt around in, so grab your girls and shop til you drop.
Here are a few spots to try out:
2. Rocket City Rover
Have you ever seen the pedal trolleys around town? Rocket City Rover would make a perfect girls night out. You can fit up to 14 passengers—ten on bike seats with pedals, two on bike seats without pedals and two more on a bench in the back.
Pedal your way through downtown Huntsville or go on a microbrewery tour.
- Cost: Monday-Thursday $25 per person | Friday-Sunday $30 per person
- Tickets: Buy online
3. Candle making
Who doesn’t love the smell of their favorite candle? You and at least four of your friends can have a private or home candle making party, thanks to Playing with Fire. You’ll make pint-sized candles and pick out your own scents.
- Cost: $25 per person
- Book by calling 256-683-1684 or emailing playingwithfirecandles@gmail.com
4. Wine flights
Enjoy a wine flight (or two) at Flight Plan. There are ten themed wine flights to try—each with four 2-ounce glasses of wine. Find something you love? Have a glass. Or a bottle. We don’t judge.
Not a huge wine gal? Perhaps a whiskey flight is better suited for you!
- Check out the wine and whiskey flight menus
5. After-hours at Huntsville Museum of Art
Huntsville Museum of Art offers $5 tickets from 5-8PM on Thursdays. Good news, there’s wine available.
Check out the art with all your best girl friends.
- Cost: $5, wine sold separately
- Tickets: Buy online or at the door
