1. Kind Cafe

Kind Cafe is a coffee shop that specializes in nitro cold brew coffee and hand-made New York-style bagels and spreads, baked fresh every morning. 

They have a very inviting interior and an incredible staff that lives out the cafe’s mission of inspiring kindness and harboring a spirit of helpfulness. 

Along with the housemade bagels, Kind Cafe also offers a variety of local goodies and sweets. They have an assortment of pastries from Dropout Bakery — all freshly baked in Mobile — and Guncles – gluten-free treats also freshly baked in Mobile.

Summer specialty drink: Nitro Matcha Lemonade. This drink needs to be added to the top of your list to try. It is a super refreshing lemonade infused with matcha run through their nitro machine.

2. The Coffee Loft

The Coffee Loft is a local staple and a sure place to fill your caffeine needs. They have a range of specialty drinks and great twists on coffee classics.

Refuge coffee shop is certainly a local favorite due to its stand-out coffee and inviting environment. They work with fair trade certified green coffee suppliers and only use the best-sourced coffee.

Summer specialty drink: The Valencia. A light, refreshing mix of house-made orange and vanilla syrup, espresso, and steamed milk.

4. Provision

Provision is a beautiful modern space, that consists of an elegantly laid-back ambiance with a coffee shop, wine bar, gourmet goods market, and home decor. While the atmosphere is surely inviting, their coffee will be what keeps you coming back for more.

5. Latte Da

Latte Da is a book lover and coffee drinker’s dream come true. This coffee shop is located inside of the book store, Page and Palette. While browsing for your next summer read you can sip on an amazing coffee or tea and maybe even get some ice cream.

Summer specialty drink – Piper and Leaf Tea. A family-run local tea company based in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama, that has an assortment of flavors that can be freshly brewed iced or hot.
