Who doesn’t love a good food truck?

They’re convenient, usually inexpensive and almost certainly delicious. In our efforts to settle on what we wanted for lunch at the office this week, we inadvertently built a great list of food trucks around the state—and here are our top five.

Front Yard Tacos | Mobile

Front Yard Tacos is a precious little taco truck that has permanent residence on the front lawn of Nova Espresso—an equally adorable local coffee shop with an innovative menu.

The truck is open for breakfast and lunch—although they did just start a ‘Taco Tuesday’ special, where they stay open for dinner once a week.

Arenas Tacos | Huntsville

Looking for authentic Mexican food in North Alabama? Arenas Tacos serves up your classic mouthwatering birria tacos alongside unique twists like birria ramen.

The Current at Cahaba | Birmingham

Another permanent food truck we love is The Current at Cahaba Brewing Company in Birmingham. To go with your Alabama-brewed beers, The Current takes classic bar food and elevates it a bit. Think gigantic soft pretzels with beer cheese and perfectly greasy smashburgers topped with house-made pickles.

Haven Health Bus | Florence

Healthy eats on-to-go has never been easier than stopping at Haven Health Bus in Florence! The school-bus-turned-food-truck crafts nutritious and delicious smoothies, smoothie bowls and hearty toasts.

Paradise Chow | Birmingham

Birmingham must love a food truck and brewery combo – because Paradise Chow at TrimTab is another of our team’s favorites. The menu has your classic American bar food and new twists on old favorites like tacos.
