Looking for activities to get you into the spooky season mood? Look no further. Mobile has a wide variety of events and activities planned to make sure your October is a success. Check out these five upcoming events coming to Mobile this October:

1. Spooky Artwalk

  • The City of Mobile Parks and Recreation hosts the Mobile LoDa Artwalk on the second Friday of each month. This month, they are bringing a festive vibe to Downtown Mobile with their Spooky Artwalk. Stop by anytime and walk the streets of Downtown Mobile to see what our local vendors will have in store for you—just in time for the holidays.

2. Night at the Museum

History comes alive in Mobile this October (History Museum of Mobile)
  • The History Museum of Mobile is hosting a night with a historical scavenger hunt, storytelling, Halloween crafts and more. When the clock strikes 5PM, history comes alive in this museum. Be sure to come dressed as your favorite historical figure or in your best Halloween costume for the opportunity to win a costume contest for all ages.

3. Sweet Dreams Haunted House

  • Are you ready to face your fears? Sweet Dreams Haunted House is the place for you this October. This will be their first year running their pop up haunted house in Mobile. Starting on October 1 and running through November 5, this haunted house located Downtown is guaranteed to keep the Halloween season spooky.

  • Price: $30 general admission | $50 VIP admission

4. Halloween at the Exploreum

Fun learning experiences start here (Exploreum Science Center)
  • Join the Exploreum as they host their annual Halloween event featuring a full lineup of scary good activities. Be sure to come dressed in your best costume for their costume contest and stick around for the various chilling and thrilling science demonstrations! There will be several different events such as Mad Hatter’s face painting and a meet and greet with Albert Einstein and Isaac Newton to ensure you have the spookiest time during your visit.

5. Bites and Frights – Haunted Food Tour of Mobile

  • Bienville Bites Food Tour is offering a selection of spooky tours this Halloween including, Bites and Frights. This particular tour will highlight all of the spook-tacular haunted experiences throughout Downtown Mobile. Taste your way through the oldest streets in Alabama while learning about the haunted landmarks that make Mobile what it is today. Be sure to check out their other tours, Boo Brunch and The Haunted Hunt, for more family fun this October!
