Hey boos! It’s finally October, and you know what that means, it’s time to trick or treat yo’self. Get spooky this Halloween season and check out these five upcoming events coming to Tuscaloosa this October.

1. Skate-O-Ween

If you’re looking for fun for all ages, don’t miss this event. Super Skate is hosting their annual “Skate-O-Ween” this October. Bring the whole family for games, prizes and roller skating. This event takes place October 30 from 2PM-5PM. Don’t forget to wear your best Halloween costume!

2. The Horror- Haunted house

For all of my fear-seeking friends, The Horror Tuscaloosa is hosting a spine-chilling haunted house. This massive haunted house features two frightening themes, so expect classic horror scares as well as new frights. Ages 13 and under require a parent or guardian, so enter at your own risk! The Horror will be open most weekends in October, so stop in whenever you’re brave enough.

3. Stranger Things dance party

Wanting to dance the night away? This is the place for you. Druid City Music Hall is hosting a Stranger Things dance party on Saturday October 11th, featuring DJ Camel. Get your groove on to all of your favorite 80’s songs. Get ready for flashing lights, 80’s throwback music and the time of your life. This is an 18+ event that will offer a full bar for 21+. 4. Ghost Hunt- Drish House

Hey ghouls and guys, face your fears at Tuscaloosa’s Historic Drish House’s ghost hunt. Tuscaloosa’s Drish House was built in 1837 and has a rich and complicated history. This ghost hunt is an interactive experience, where you’ll have the chance to use professional paranormal equipment to discover exclusive paranormal activity. The ghost hunt will be lead by the Southern Ghost Girls, Psychic Lesley and Ann Hyde.

5. Ale on Wheels

If you’re more into treats rather than tricks, check out Ale on Wheels hosted by the Hank Poore Foundation. The Hank Poore Foundation’s mission is to create opportunities and experiences for people with disabilities, as well as fostering a community. Bring blankets and lawn chairs out to the Buddy Powell Pavilion and enjoy live music, food trucks, local beer/wine and plenty of halloween activities for the kids.
