5 startups to participate in Montgomery Defense Accelerator

Next month, five startups will have the opportunity to participate in Montgomery TechLab’s Defense Accelerator program.
The Defense Accelerator is the company’s partnership between the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce and Treble One, an aerospace consulting firm that assists companies develop business with the Department of Defense.
The 8-week accelerator program is for early-stage technology companies. The five startups participating in this year’s program include:
- Analytical AI
- Lineaj
- XO Armor
- Generational Systems
- GuidePad
Montgomery TechLab
The MTL Defense Accelerator is designed to help startups break into the defense sector with dual-use technologies including:
- Artificial intelligence
- Cybersecurity
- Mobile application development
The accelerator selects five companies to participate and matching companies with national security advisors to assess the viability of scaling their products and/or services within the federal government.
The program provides coaches to help build and refine a defense specific go-to-market strategy, business development experts and writing specialists to support proposals, and access to Treble One’s expansive network of Department of Defense users, customers, and investors.
Through hands-on support, the program hopes to provide assistance to:
- Translate commercial technologies for defense applications
- Navigate complex DoD procurement processes
- Compete for non-dilutive federal funding opportunities
The official kick off for the program will be June 5 in Montgomery. The event will bring together founders, defense leaders, and partners to make meaningful connections and set the tone for an impactful accelerator experience.
