5 stunning spots for drive-by holiday lights in Huntsville

We love holiday lights⁠—who doesn’t? Huntsvillians are loving the Galaxy of Lights and Rocket City Christmas Light Show. If you’ve seen those and are wanting even more, never fear. We’ve got all the info you need right here to plan your very own drive-by light show.

1. Galaxy of Lights

Huntsville Botanical Garden puts on a fabulous light show. In fact, it was nominated for USA Today’s 10Best Best Botanical Garden Holiday Lights.

We’ve cast our votes—what about you? The 10Best will be announced Friday, December 17 at 11AM. Stay tuned.

2. Rocket City Christmas Light Show

I have heard wonderful things about the Rocket City Christmas Light Show, so I know you’ll love it.

3. Biscayne Street SW

You’ll find Biscayne Street off of Bob Wallace Avenue. Several houses have their homes decked out. I love admiring the hard work of the families who’ve decorated their homes.

4. Todd Mill Road

After Biscayne Street, I headed to my next recommended stop. Driving down Todd Mill Road, I thought I’d missed the house. Then, I saw it. Trust me, there’s no missing this house.

Pull over and throw on your hazards for a light show. But wait, there’s more! Tune into 106.9 for some holiday hits to go with the lights on the house and in the yard.

5. Cove Valley Drive

On Cove Valley Drive, you’ll find the incredible light display put on by the Hall Family. Known as the Hall Family Light Show, you’ll find over 250,000 lights. Turn the radio to 107.1.

You don’t want to miss this one. The Hall Family Light Show will be going on until New Years Day.
