Auburn Candle Company is a candle shop loved by locals. You can purchase classic and signature scents, or try your hand at candle-making through workshops and various events.
The teachers instruct you step-by-step on how to make a candle and even let you choose the scents to mix yourself.
This experience is a great opportunity to learn a new skill and make a heartfelt and customized gift for someone.

2. Auburn Community Garden
If you’ve ever wanted to gain a green thumb but don’t have the space at home, then the Auburn Community Garden has you covered.
Individual plots of different sizes are available to rent for a yearly fee. Gardeners grow everything from herbs, fruits, vegetables and flowers.
Schools, university classes and other groups use the garden as an educational resource. The Auburn Community Garden also hosts educational events about gardening in Alabama.
3. Visions of Color Paint and Pour
One of the best ways to enjoy a night out with friends is attending a painting class.
Visions of Color Paint and Pour offers a variety of affordable classes for all ages and skill levels. You can also book a private Paint Night. It is a cheerful and upbeat experience for those who want to find the artist within them through fun and laughter with family, friends and good wine you can bring from home.

4. Dean Road Ceramics Studio
The Dean Road Ceramics Studio is a creative space with many artistic and educational opportunities offered to the community.

5. Market Street Paint Shop
At Market Street Paint Shop workshops, you can learn all kinds of techniques, including:

They have all the colors, waxes and brushes—all you need to do is show up with what you want to paint and have fun!
When the Market Street Paint Shop is not hosting workshops, you can stop by the store to get help with all your painting supply needs. They also have a coffee shop in the store that brews their own coffee beans and has many sweets for you to enjoy.
