There’s nothing better than the holidays in Tuscaloosa. After a season of home games, Title Town puts all of its legendary spirit into the holiday season. Whether you’re looking for a festive performance or a tinsel-studded trail, there are no shortage of ways to celebrate this season. We chose our favorite holiday happenings around town.
1. T-Town Tinsel Trail
Almost 200 Christmas trees are aglow in the heart of Tuscaloosa this month. Each one of the trail’s mesmerizing trees is sponsored by a local business or organization. They’re decorated with creative themes ranging from a Snoopy Christmas to Van Gogh’s “Starry Night.” Truly, each tree is a work of art.
The Tinsel Trail moved from the Riverwalk to Government Plaza this holiday season in an effort to attract more visitors to T-Town. Check out the plaza’s ice skating rink to make it a perfect winter night!
