Retool Your School
Through this initiative, The Home Depot strives to give back to HBCUs. The company wants to repay the schools for what they have so generously given to their communities: a strong foundation, renewed purpose and distinctive character.
Innovation Lounge Grants will help provide on-campus spaces where students can come together to do schoolwork, ideate, problem-solve, or career path opportunities. Innovation Lounges can also be used to host hybrids meetings and webinars.
Since 2009, the Retool Your School Program has provided over $12.1 million in grants that allow HBCUs to make sustainable improvements to their campuses.
