Lanier House in Madison



Lanier House in Madison has a menu that changes each month based on themes + seasonal produce. Past themes have included Alice in Wonderland, Bridgerton + Romeo and Juliet.
Their adult tea service is $30, which includes three savories, two breads + three desserts; each tier is paired with a different tea. Children’s tea time is available for $20 + Lanier House also offers gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian options (with notice 24 hours in advance).
Their afternoon tea times are by reservation only, however, so make sure to reserve your spot beforehand!

Charming Teacup in Point Clear


This adorable tea house’s afternoon adult tea offers: two scones with devonshire cream, chicken salad on a croissant, English cucumber, cream cheese + herb sandwiches, a savory item, seasonal desserts + bottomless pots of their gourmet loose leaf teas for $49.95 per person.
Their menu also features a child’s afternoon tea option, a-la-carte options, takeaway tea/snacks + more!

The Hawthorn in Daphne



With a dark Victorian aesthetic, The Hawthorn in Daphne is a book-lover’s dream. In addition to their delicious teas, the shop sells rare, antique books + artifacts. They have hosted several events so far + are planning more theatrical events for the future — including a murder mystery or two.

Enchanted Gatherings Tea Room + Cafe in Florence



This Florence tea house’s specialty are tea parties, “over the top in food and decor.” Their formal tea is $29/person (by reservation only) + feature three courses: savory, scones + sweets. All of their food, made from scratch in-house, is accompanied by fine china + all the frills. Guests are encouraged to bring their biggest/fanciest hat to wear (but no worries if you don’t have one — they have plenty to spare)!

The Well in Opelika


The Well, located in the heart of Downtown Opelika, is a charming, laid-back tea house with several themed rooms. In addition to their specialty teas, they offer delicious pastries, coffee + unique, creative experiences (by reservation), like sun printing, watercolor painting, letter writing, candle painting + more.

The Tea Garden in Montgomery

This Montgomery tea house has several tea service options on their menu, including a $24 “Southern Garden” option featuring three mini sandwiches, three mini desserts, two scones with cream and curd + one pot of tea with one refill.
