Two manufacturing facilities in Oxford are getting improvements through a $6.24 million expansion from Associated MetalCast.

The Alabama-based precision metal casting and manufacturing company will expand its operations through the project, creating 50 new jobs and upgrading its equipment and technology across Calhoun and Talladega counties.

The investment is expected to take place over the next six years.

“Associated MetalCast is exactly the kind of company Alabama wants to grow — innovative, technically advanced and deeply committed to quality. This expansion is a testament to the strength of our manufacturing workforce and the competitive business environment we’ve built in this state. We’re proud to support the growth of a company that has earned its reputation through precision, performance and results.”
