While January is a quiet month for Alabama’s beautiful amphitheaters, there’s still plenty of good music and good laughs to enjoy. Keep reading for seven concerts kicking off 2024, and have your calendar ready.

This one will take you back in time. “The Return – A Beatles Tribute” is an immersive performance of all your favorite hits from the Beatles era. Plus, it’s a great excuse to visit the beautiful Downtown OWA area.

3. Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift in Birmingham

Candlelight Concerts at the Birmingham Museum of Art are always magical, but if you’re a Swiftie, this one’s going to be extra special. Featuring performances of all the songs you’ve had on repeat this year, “Candlelight: A Tribute to Taylor Swift” needs to be on your calendar.

4. Drew Lynch in Huntsville

Anybody else remember Drew Lynch’s debut on America’s Got Talent? The nation fell in love with Drew’s sense of humor, and he won second place in 2015. Since then, he’s built a strong social media following and had many crowds rolling. Now, he’s coming to one of Huntsville’s trendiest venues—Mars Music Hall.

5. Tool in Birmingham

Tool, the 1990s rock band, is gracing the Legacy Arena stage for an unforgettable night of rock ‘n roll. Run, don’t walk, to get your tickets!

6. Conner Smith in Tuscaloosa

Known for the viral song, “I Hate Alabama,” Conner Smith is a young, up-and-coming Nashville country star. At just 23 years old, he’s already toured alongside Thomas Rhett, Parker McCollum and more. In January, he’s taking center stage at Tuscaloosa’s Druid City Music Hall.
