Celebrating everything from Gulf Coast seafood to chocolate to beer, these seven festivals throughout Alabama are bringing the flavor this February. Read on for all the details.

1. 11th Annual Chocolate Walk | Athens

Are you team milk chocolate, dark chocolate or white chocolate? No matter your fave, you can find all of them at the 11th Annual Chocolate Walk in beautiful downtown Athens. The self-guided event will allow participants to support local businesses and stock up on Valentine’s Day chocolates.

2. Von Brewski Beer Festival | Huntsville

One of the Von Braun Center’s most highly anticipated events is back—the Von Brewski Beer Festival. Featuring over 50 breweries and over 100 brews, attendees will be able to sample all the best of the Southeast’s brewing scene while enjoying live music and food.

3. Birmingham Restaurant Week Winter Edition

Celebrating the diversity and deliciousness of the Magic City’s food scene, Birmingham Restaurant Week is back for their Winter Edition. For 10 days, locals and visitors can explore food and drink specials at a wide variety of eateries—from Ovenbird to Rojo to Sol Y Luna.

4. Huntsville Mardi Gras Bar Crawl

Take a tour of the Rocket City’s best watering holes at the Huntsville Mardi Gras Bar Crawl. There will be masks, beads and drinks galore.

5. Fort Morgan Oyster Fest | Gulf Shores

This is the ultimate celebration of the Gulf Coast’s famous fresh oysters. This annual event draws huge crowds for all-you-can-eat oysters, a shucking contest, local vendors, live music and oysters done every way you can imagine.

6. Orange Beach Seafood Festival + Car Show

Now for Gulf Coast seafood. The Wharf is hosting the 32nd Annual Seafood Festival + Car Show, a family-friendly event featuring arts and crafts vendors, a Kids Zone, live music, stunning cars and, of course, lots of seafood.

7. Montgomery Jewish Food Festival

Latke lovers, this one’s for you—the Montgomery Jewish Food Festival is back again this year. On Sunday, February 25, you can nosh on pastries, hot plates, latkes and more. Plus, you can get frozen dishes to-go and bring the flavor home with you.
