7 holiday-themed bars you need to visit before the end of the year

Christmas and holiday pop-up bars seem to be more and more popular every year.
It’s no different here in Alabama and there are a few places that stand out from the rest. If you’re looking for a place to get into the Christmas spirit with a Christmas spirit in hand, check out these seven places across the state.
Miracle on 24th Street in Birmingham
- Location: Hold Your Horses, 112 24th Street North, Birmingham, Alabama 35203
- Hours: 4PM-12AM, Sunday-Thursday | 4PM-2AM, Friday-Saturday
- Our order: There will be some new drinks on the menu this year as Hold Your Horses has taken over the Queen’s Park building but Miracle on 24th remains. And we have it on good authority the Yippee Ki Yay Mother F****r is still on the menu.

Miracle at MidCity in Huntsville
- Location: The Camp, 5909 University Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35806
- Hours: Tuesday-Thursday, 4-9PM | Friday-Saturday, 11AM-11PM | Sunday, 11AM-8PM | Closed Monday
- Our order: The Snowball Old Fashioned is a favorite at any Miracle bar. The perfect sphere of an ice cube sits in the middle of a classic old fashioned drink with a hint of gingerbread flavor.

Miracle at Hilltop House in Montgomery
- Location: Hilltop Public House, 3 Goldthwaite Street, Montgomery, AL 36104
- Hours: 5PM-12AM, most days (Keep an eye on social for hours!)
- Our order: The Koala LaLaLa is a big hit for the tequila fans out there, with some nice apple liquer added to make it a feel like a holiday drink. Plus, the little guy that comes on the straw makes for a good tree topper.

Christmas at the CoHoHo in Auburn
- Location: The Collegiate Hotel at Auburn, 205 South Gay Street, Auburn, AL 36830
- Hours: 4-10PM
- Our order: If you’re going with a group, we recommend renting out one of the hotel’s Boozie Bubbles on the rooftop for some warmth. There will be plenty of holiday-themed drinks on the menu but you can never go wrong with the bar’s popular espresso martini.

Sippin’ Santa in Birmingham
- Location: Neon Moon, 2316 2nd Ave N, Birmingham, AL 35203
- Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 6PM-2AM
- Our order: The namesake drink, Sippin’ Santa, has rum, orange, lemon and amaro for the tropical feel but is topped with some gingerbread flavor to remind you to celebrate the holidays.

The North POST in Mobile

- Hours: Monday-Thursday, 4PM-12AM | Friday-Saturday, 2PM-2AM | Closed Sunday
- Our order: The Cindy Who? is a gin-based drink made with orange rosemary-cinnamon syrup and cranberry to give it a perfectly fitting holiday taste.

- Our order: If it’s a cool night, we’d go with the spiked hot chocolate topped with some extra marshmallows. It’ll warm you right up!
