The weather is starting to warm up, flowers are blooming and festivals are being planned. Spring is approaching and there is no better way to enjoy the season than going to a festival. Mobile and Baldwin counties have several popping up within the next few weeks, and they make the perfect day trip with friends and family. Margaritas and mudbugsโ€”is there a better combination? Foley does not seem to think so, as this is the second year it takes place. There will be several vendors set up to enjoy different local cuisines and games to keep the day fun.

5. Baldwin County Strawberry Festival | April 8-9

Fruit lovers, this one is for you. Strawberries are the perfect way to enjoy Alabama’s incredible spring weather. Guests can participate in the on-site carnival, look at vintage cars at the annual car show or register for the 5K run.

6. Waterway Village Zydeco & Crawfish Festival & 5K Run | April 21-22

Live music, endless crawfish and a family-friendly environment? This festival has it all. This is Waterway Village’s 7th annual crawfish festival and it has yet to disappoint.

7. Bama Coast Crusin’ | April 27-29

Cruise on down to the Wharf in Orange Beach and check out vintage cars, enjoy live music, do some local shopping and if you’re looking for some additional funโ€”hop on the Ferris wheel and get breathtaking views.
