When Winn Dixie announced plans Oct. 21 to leave the entire state of Alabama by the end of 2025, the company said they were going to sell off all remaining Winn-Dixie stores to other grocers.

After one week, it looks like they are trying to keep that promise.

Winn Dixie has a long history in Alabama and the community will miss these stores greatly.
