W.C. Handy Music Festival in Florence

- What: This two-week celebration honors the Father of Blues who was born in Florence in 1873. There will be concerts at different venues across the city + other events to celebrate Handy’s legacy in the Shoals.

Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo in Dauphin Island
- What: This annual tournament brings thousands of anglers to the Gulf Coast but even if you’re not fishing, there’s plenty to get excited about including four nights of live music.
