1. Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center

Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center is the perfect place to spend time with friends or family. It offers an arcade, bumper cars, bowling, laser tag, food and more. If you’re looking to have fun on a budget, Stars and Strikes have Sunday night specials, unlimited Tuesdays, Taco Tuesday, Wild Wednesday, and Thursday COLLEGE NIGHT! Yes, COLLEGE NIGHT—all you have to do is show a valid college ID for $2 games of bowling, shoe rental, and laser tag.

2. Roller Time Skate Center

Roller Time Skate Center is about 8 mins away from Alabama A&M. If you’re looking to break a sweat and have fun this is definitely your go-to. Each Sunday from 8PM-12AM, swing by Roller Time Skate Center for adult skate night (18+). And don’t forget about Thursdays! From 7PM-10PM, join in for skating with 80s, 90s and 2000s twist with a DJ mixing your favorite hits.

3. 3000Bar Huntsville

3000Bar is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Oakwood University. It’s the go-to for any day of the week. Had a long day, and want to find a relaxing place to wind down? 3000Bar is the perfect place. In addition, they also have football watch parties and Karaoke Sundays.

4. The Garden of Huntsville

The Garden of Huntsville—also known as “Club 3208″—is one of the most vibrant clubs in Rocket City. This club brings not only all the college students out, but locals as well. Plus, Club 3208 has the best Taco Tuesdays a college student can ask for. The Garden is known for bringing out everyone’s favorite rappers and hip-hop influencers. If you’re looking to party this is the go-to spot.

5. The Camp

The Camp is about 8 mins away from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and The U.S. Space & Rocket Center. This fun camp offers live music, food, drinks, and a coffee shop. Plus, the area is dog and kid-friendly. The Camp is an excellent place for students to study and relax.

6. Big Spring International Park

When it’s a bright and sunny day, Big Spring Park is a favorite visit for Huntsville residents. Be sure to bring your picnic setup! Big Spring Park is a very romantic spot for college couples to spend quality time.
