1. The Avondale Bar & Tap Room
Avondale is a cool bar in the heart of downtown, but you might just miss it walking by. You have to go through a door and walk up a slim staircase to get into this dark and mysterious room. With the many different libations offered in this speakeasy-like bar, there is surely something for everyone. Sit and enjoy your drink with a bird’s-eye view of downtown Auburn.
2. LiveOaks
Named after Auburn’s famous trees, LiveOaks is a very popular location for students and residents to come grab some drinks. It is an Auburn themed restaurant and bar with cocktails named fun things such as “Tipsy Tiger.” This outside bar has a lively environment and great atmosphere to enjoy the company of your friends over some drinks.

3. Lucy’s
You are not going to want to miss out on Lucy’s cocktails, as their bartender was named Best Bartender in the state of Alabama in 2020. Order a perfected drink off the menu, or let him concoct something up specifically for your taste- Neil can do it all! Not only is every drink is stunningly beautiful and presented with unique aesthetics, but tastes amazing too.

4. The Country Club of Auburn
The Country Club of Auburn is a cool venue with drinks, food, and mini golf. They have exciting signature cocktails such as “The Grilled Pineapple Margarita” and many more. Check out their full drink menu here. Auburn folks rent this place out for events and parties where they sip on some cocktails in preparation for putting on the course.

5. The Wittel Rooftop Bar
Named after the historic girls dormitory, The Wittle Rooftop Bar sits on top of the Collegiate Hotel right off of Auburn’s campus. With its eclectic boutique hotel feel and yummy drinks, this bar is hard to beat. Friends and families come here to watch the sun set over Auburn and enjoy a cocktail. You will feel quite luxurious sitting on this rooftop with one of these pretty drinks in your hand!
