A new Target is coming to the town of Albertville.

Last week, the city broke ground at the site of the new 250,000 sq. ft. Sand Mountain Marketplace development.

Located at the intersection of Highway 431 and HT Greer Road, the developer of the  30+ acre site is Willow Capital Partners. Presently, the group has signed up the following retailers:

  • Target
  • Academy Sports + Outdoors
  • HomeGoods
  • Burlington

The new Target location is the first one in Northeast Alabama outside of the Huntsville and Birmingham metro areas.
