Actor Dennis Quaid makes stop at Buddies BBQ in Talladega

Alabama has plenty of restaurants that have received national and international recognition for their food but sometimes it’s the hidden gems who get some special surprise visitors.
That was the case for Buddies BBQ in Talladega last week when long-time actor Dennis Quaid stopped in for a bite to eat.

Dennis Quaid visits Talladega
Quaid has reportedly been in Atlanta, filming a new AMC show about NASCAR titled “Thunder Road” which is set to release next year.
It’s unclear whether some of that show was filmed in Talladega or Quaid just made the short drive into town to explore for himself. But according to the restaurant’s social media post, Quaid said he Googled “Best BBQ in Talladega” which sent him straight to Buddies.

Just last year, his son Jack Quaid was spotted in Mobile while filming Neighborhood Watch.
