After 80 years in business, Lloyd’s Restaurant in Inverness is spreading its tasty wings with the opening of a second location in Sylacauga this May. Read on for the the yummy details.

About Lloyd’s Restaurant

An American restaurant, Lloyd’s Restaurant originally opened in 1937 in the city of Chelsea on US Highway 280 then later reopened in Inverness. Best known for its 16-ounce hamburger steak with gravy and onions, other popular voices include:

  • Fried chicken 
  • Barbecue plate
  • Onion rings
  • Fried catfish + shrimp
  • Hush puppies
  • Creamed corn
  • Turnip greens

A New Location

Now, the restaurant is branching out to share their delicious dishes with more patrons by opening a second location. The news was released on Facebook via the Sylacauga Commercial Development Authority.

The new location will also be located on US 280, just further down in Sylacauga at the former Pete’s Smokehouse BBQ at 40810 US-280, Sylacauga, AL 35150.
