Alabama, Auburn get official kickoff times for Week 1

ESPN has announced the first week of kickoff times for the 2026 college football season, including the start times for Alabama and Auburn.

The two in-state rivals will play back-to-back on ABC on Saturday, Sept. 5 as part of the Week 1 slate on Labor Day weekend. The schedule includes:

  • East Carolina at Alabama, 11AM, ABC
  • Baylor vs. Auburn (Atlanta), 2:30PM, ABC

While a pair of international games officially kick off the season August 29, the following weekend is considered Week 1 with a full slate of games.

Disney announced kickoff times for seven games on ESPN or ABC for the opening weekend including:

  • Thursday, Sep. 3
  • Colorado at Georgia Tech, 7PM, ESPN
  • Friday, Sep. 4
  • Miami (FL) at Stanford, 8PM, ESPN
  • Saturday, Sep. 5
  • East Carolina at Alabama, 11AM, ABC
  • Baylor vs. Auburn (Atlanta), 2:30PM, ABC
  • Clemson at LSU, 6:30PM, ABC
  • Sunday, Sep. 6
  • Louisville vs. Ole Miss (Nashville), 6:30PM, ABC
  • Monday, Sep. 7
  • SMU at Florida State, 6:30PM, ESPN
