Alabama, Auburn makes Niche’s top-10 best campuses—which one ranks higher?

Niche.com is in the process of releasing its annual nationwide college rankings for a wide variety of categories including best college campuses.
And we have a pair of campuses that made the top 10 + two others that were ranked in the top 100. Those include:
- No. 6 University of Alabama
- No. 9 Auburn University
- No. 64 Samford University
- No. 95 University of North Alabama
Auburn and Alabama both earned A+ grades for their campus while Samford had an A- and UNA got a B.


University of Alabama
There’s no denying there are plenty of options for students all over the university’s campus in Tuscaloosa which is a big reason why it ranks so highly on Niche’s list.
Some of the factors that went into Alabama’s ranking included:
- Student Life: A+
- Party Scene: A+
- Campus Food: A
- Housing: A
- Safety: B-
Earlier this summer, Niche listed UA as the No. 4 best party school in the country.
Plus it doesn’t hurt to have the nation’s top football program along with several other successful athletic teams.
Auburn University

Auburn is no stranger to being near the top of lists like this as their students, faculty and visitors continue to rave about the campus and their experiences at the university.
Some of the other recent nods include:
- Auburn University ranks No. 1 for happiest students in the nation
- Study shows Auburn is the best place to live in Alabama
- Auburn listed among nation’s 54 most beautiful campuses
And while Auburn does rank ahead of Alabama in Niche’s overall best colleges in the state, it sits just behind the cross-state rival when it comes to best campus.

- Party Scene: A+
- Campus Food: A
- Dorms: B
- Safety: B
