Iron Bowl of Basketball History
Over the last 10 years, the regular season meetings have been split evenly with Alabama holding the overall edge thanks to a win over the Tigers at the SEC Tournament in 2018.
That meeting was also the last time the two teams faced each other outside of one of the school’s home arenas.
The last time the rivalry was played in Birmingham was March 9, 1985 when Auburn won 53-49 in overtime in the SEC Tournament Championship Game.
