Alabama and Auburn have released initial details for their annual A-Day scrimmages in the spring, setting consecutive weekends in April to take the field.

The Crimson Tide will hit the field first with A-Day in Tuscaloosa scheduled for 1PM on Saturday, April 11. That’s one week before the Morgan Wallen concert at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Auburn will hold its first A-Day under coach Alex Golesh a week later as the Tigers are scheduled for a 2PM start time on April 18.

Keep reading for more details from both events + what you can expect to see from both teams.

Alabama A-Day

While the date of Alabama’s spring showcase is set, there are not many details about whether fans should expect a true scrimmage or just an open practice.

The university did say the day’s events will still include the annual Walk of Fame ceremony at Denny Chimes which will feature captains from the 2025 squad including Ty Simpson, Deontae Lawson, Tim Keenan and Parker Brailsford.

According to a release from UA, fans should expect to see some changes to the fan experience at least as the stadium prepares for the concert the next weekend.

“While additional details surrounding A-Day will be announced at a later date, attendees should note that some modifications will be made relative to upgraded experiences, activations outside the stadium, concessions and premium seating due to preparations for the concert on Saturday, April 18.”

Auburn A-Day

The Tigers have announced a full week of events ahead of their scrimmage on April 18 which will feature “a traditional spring game format.”

A-Day will feature the full gameday atmosphere including Tiger Walk before kickoff and the Auburn University Marching Band in attendance. Players will also be available to sign autographs on the field after the game.

The week leading up the football showcase will include a softball series against Alabama and a baseball series against Kentucky. There will also be two home tennis matches for the Tigers.

Broadcast details for both games will be announced at a later date.
