Alabama Cajun restaurant named one of the best in the U.S.
Reading time: 2 minutes

Here’s a spot to add to your Alabama restaurant bucket list with delicious food, panoramic views and authentic Cajun eats.
Boudreaux’s Cajun Grill, located in Daphne, just off Interstate 10 and minutes away from Mobile, was named one of the best restaurants to enjoy Cajun cuisine in the region.
Mashed, an online food publication, put the Daphne restaurant on its recently-published “Best Cajun Restaurants in the South” list among some other tasty eateries — including many in Louisiana!
“Winner of a slew of regional awards under its belt, Boudreaux’s Cajun Grill offers up classic dishes like crawfish étouffée, blackened catfish, and a variety of po’ boys, with much of the seafood fresh caught off local shores.
“According to some, the Cajun cooking at Boudreaux’s Cajun Grill is even better than what you can find in New Orleans. “I was amazed at how good the food was here,” wrote one chuffed Yelp reviewer. ‘100x more authentic than anything I tried in the French Quarter. Maybe the best Cajun restaurant I’ve been to.'”
Scott Harris-King, Mashed
Some of the mouth-watering dishes you can enjoy include:
- Crawfish étouffée
- Shrimp creole
- Crawfish cakes
- Chicken macque choux
- Shrimp & grits
- Voodoo pasta
- Steak Orleans
- Po’ boys
Of course, you can’t pass up their delicious dessert options: beignets, bananas foster, key lime pie, root beer float and brownie a la mode.
