Jonathan Young
Jonathan Young is from Gadsden but grew up and was home schooled in Gulf Shores before going to the University of Alabama. He was on the Crimson Tide’s swim team as a freestyle swimmer.
Young previously competed in Survivor 42, making it to the final four contestants before becoming the final member of the jury.
In recent years, he has founded a company known as Young Strength which is based in Orange Beach.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly to get ready for the 50th season, Young was asked why he wanted to return to the show.
“Survivor is the greatest game ever played! Survivor 42 opened my eyes to different things that helped me grow as a person. When I came home from 42, I was very thankful for everything I had waiting for me at home. Being on an island starving is very humbling. It is such an honor to be chosen for this huge season.”
