Alabama couple set to compete on new season of The Amazing Race

There will be a dash of Alabama flair in the upcoming season of The Amazing Race on CBS.
Daisha Wilks of Flat Rock and Dalton Hamby of Jacksonville teamed up to compete in the race around the world.

Meet Daisha Wilks + Dalton Hamby

The duo has had to keep a secret for nearly a full year since competing but they got to make the announcement on social media earlier this week.
“The secret is finally OUT!!! We’re so excited to announce that we’ll be competing on Season 39 of CBS’s The Amazing Race! From traveling the world and filming our adventures to racing around the globe… this has been the wildest chapter yet. We still can’t believe this is real.”

Daisha, 28, and Dalton, 27, are both videographers who have built a following across social media platforms.
The couple was dating at the time of filming but have since announced their engagement.
The Amazing Race Season 39
The show kicked off from Vancouver but contestants will travel over 25,000 miles across nine different countries throughout the season. Episodes were filmed in fall of 2025 but it is set to air later this year.
