College sports fans in Tuscaloosa are in for a treat over the next three days. The men’s basketball team is set to host No. 2 Purdue on Thursday night and the women’s soccer team is hosting the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday night.
But of course, all eyes will be on Saturday’s festivities as Alabama looks to take a big step toward securing a spot in the SEC Championship Game + in the College Football Playoff.
The fourth-ranked Crimson Tide hosts No. 11 Oklahoma, looking to avenge last season’s stunning 24-3 loss in Norman that prevented Alabama from making the 2024 playoff.

Week 12 schedule
Troy is on national television this week, kicking off at 6:30PM on ESPN Thursday night at Old Dominion. The Trojans can secure a winning season with a win and will stay in the hunt for a spot in the Sun Belt Championship Game.
Auburn is the only in-state team on a bye week, preparing for its final two regular season games against Mercer and Auburn.
