Alabama light show nominated for USA Today’s 10Best—how you can vote to make it No. 1

Alabama has plenty of holiday light shows that you don’t want to miss this season and one of them is getting some national recognition this year.
Tuscaloosa’s annual Tinsel Trail display is one of 20 events from across the country to be nominated for USA Today’s 10Best public holiday lights display. And you can help push it to the top spot.
Head over to the USA Today 10Best page + scroll down to find Tinsel Trail. You can vote once per day until Dec. 1 with the final list being announced on Dec. 10.
As of 12PM on Nov. 21, Tuscaloosa’s display ranked 7th on the list.
Tinsel Trail in Tuscaloosa
The city’s Tinsel Trail event first came to life in 2013 and has grown each year. This year, the event will hold its grand opening on Nov. 24 and events will include:
- More than 200 Christmas trees
- Pictures with Santa
- An outdoor ice skating rink
- Pet Palooza (12/7)
- Holiday Market (12/13)
