We are in the thick of holiday shopping season and if you’re looking to get the Alabamian in your life something that will remind them of home or maybe even introduce them to something new, we’ve got a great list of Alabama-made gift ideas from every corner of the state.

This Huntsville-based confectionary was named the Best Chocolate Shop in America by USA Today and when you see their amazing creations, you’ll realize the title was well-deserved. Their chocolates are as beautiful as they are delicious with creative flavor combinations that feature local ingredients.

Owned and operated by a mother-daughter team in Shelby County, Stone Hollow Farmstead has earned national attention for their homegrown and beautifully-packaged products, even earning a spot on Oprah Winfrey’s coveted Favorite Things list. They offer a number of great gift boxes, like their Holiday Essentials box that includes cranberry and pumpkin preserves as well as turkey brine and mulling spices to make your holiday dinner extra special.

Located in Northport, just outside of Tuscaloosa, Kentuck hosts regular markets and art nights as well as an annual festival in October but they also sell locally-made art year round in their gallery shop. From handmade homewares to quilts, you can find a huge variety of Alabama-made items to bring a touch of local flare to your home.

It started out as a roadside service station in 1935 and eventually became one of the most iconic snack spots in the South. Priester’s Pecans has been offering pecan-based sweets and treats for nearly 90s years and while their products are sold in stores around the South, you can also visit their iconic store in Fort Deposit, Alabama, just south of Montgomery. We’d recommend their Sweet & Salty Sampler Tin for a perfect holiday gift.

South Alabama has become legendary for its iconic smoked Conecuh sausage, which in recent years has gone from a local staple to a nationally known culinary delicacy. Founded by the Sessions family in Evergreen in 1947, Conecuh sausage features hickory-smoked pork meat blended with a mix of herbs and spices and comes in a variety of different spice levels. They offer variety packs online that can be shipped anywhere in the country for a taste of South Alabama’s culinary pride and joy.
