Wondering what makes glamping so much fun?

To operate the new glamping sites, Alabama State Parks has partnered with Timberline Glamping. Each glamping location features new Glamping Safari Tents that are completely furnished and combine space for large families or groups, luxury amenities and the great outdoors.

Wondering what amenities turn a typical camping experience into a luxurious glamping adventure? Here are some to know:

  • Queen or king bed
  • Ceiling fan + residential A/C & heating unit
  • Electrical outlets
  • Keurig Coffee maker
  • Mini fridge
  • Rugs, lamps, diffusers + other home decor
  • And more!

The cost for a glamping experience starts at $129 depending on the location.

In a news release from Alabama State Parks, Timberline co-owner Rebeka Self said the company is receiving great feedback from park visitors.

“It’s just been pretty overwhelming. For being a new location, it’s kind of blown all of our expectations away. I think the weekends are booked out well into the fall, and they’re booking a lot of weekdays as well, which is always a good sign. They’ve already had some guests come and stay and then book again for their next trip and want to bring friends.”
