Alabama’s Jazz McKenzie moves on to The Voice finals
Reading time: 2 minutes

Birmingham’s own Jazz McKenzie has pulled off another win after advancing to the finals of the 28th season of The Voice on the most recent Monday, Dec. 1 episode.
The 31-year-old performed a rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin'” by Journey that her coach, Michael Bublé, said gave him “goosebumps.”
Watch the performance
Bublé had a tough call between all of his team members, but he ultimately decided on McKenzie after her jaw-dropping performance.
“Jazz’s voice has range, soulfulness, depth. I want her to be my three-peat. She is the perfect person to represent Team Bublé. It’s called The Voice and she is the greatest voice that I’ve ever had on here.”

McKenzie is now one of six artists who will move on to the finals — each coach gets one pick, and two will be decided based on a vote by viewers after next week’s episode on Monday, Dec. 8.
Alabama’s other star on The Voice

Our state’s other remaining contestant, Kirbi, will take the stage against her team under coach Niall Horan of One Direction next week, when she will have the chance to be one of the six artists in the upcoming finals.
In the event Horan doesn’t choose Kirbi, get ready to vote for her any any other artist you think deserves to win The Voice after the episode Monday, Dec. 8.

Catch The Voice on NBC, which airs at 7PM on local affiliate stations across the state. If you don’t mind not watching live, Peacock is NBC’s streaming service. Episodes go to Peacock a day after they air on NBC.
