The average price of a gallon of gas in Alabama is a nickel cheaper this Thanksgiving week than last year, according to AAA Alabama.
Presently, Thanksgiving holiday gas for regular statewide is $2.71 compared to $2.76 during Thanksgiving week in 2024. Gas prices are a whopping 36 cents cheaper per gallon on average in Alabama right now than they are in the rest of the U.S., which stands at $3.07.

Gas prices vary greatly throughout Alabama, ranging from $2.57 in Mobile County to $3.00 in Perry County.

- Madison County — $2.71
- Fayette County — $2.90
- Tuscaloosa County — $2.69
- Calhoun County — $2.67
- Sumter County — $2.94
- Montgomery County — $2.72
- Mobile County — $2.57
- Henry County — $2.73
- Conecuh County — $2.91
