The average price of a gallon of gas in Alabama is a nickel cheaper this Thanksgiving week than last year, according to AAA Alabama

Presently, Thanksgiving holiday gas for regular statewide is $2.71 compared to $2.76 during Thanksgiving week in 2024. Presently, gas prices are a whopping 36 cents cheaper per gallon on average in Alabama than it is in the rest of the U.S., which stands at $3.07.

Gas prices vary greatly throughout Alabama ranging from $2.57 in Mobile County to $3.00 in Perry County.
