In search of the best cheeseburger in Alabama? Yelp, the popular online directory for discovering high quality local businesses, recently released their 2023 top cheeseburger in every state list. The winner in Alabama? Our Place Diner in Ozark.

Our Place Diner is known for its burgers

Located in the Wiregrass region on Highway 231 (2751 S US HWY 231), Our Place Diner offers 10 different kinds of burgers, including its award-winning cheeseburgers: the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Burger and the “Big Bopper.” 

Each burger has two fresh patties, smoked bacon and a wide variety of cheeses.

• The group identified businesses in the food and restaurants category on Yelp, with a large concentration of reviews mentioning “cheeseburger.”
• They ranked those spots using a number of factors, including the total volume and ratings of reviews mentioning “cheeseburger,” between January 1, 2023 and July 20, 2023. 
• All businesses were marked open on Yelp as of July 20, 2023.
