The City of Albertville is ending 2022 on a high note with the opening of Lucas Cinemas 10 in December and a Whataburger, one of Alabama’s most popular fast food joints in January.

The long-awaited Lucas Cinemas 10 in Albertville location is the company’s third multiplex. The other two sites are in Maysville, Kentucky and Fort Benning, Georgia.

Texas Comes to Albertville

North Alabama’s fifth Whataburger restaurant is holding a soft opening on January 5 in Albertville.

The Texas-based fast food chain, which has a loyal following, has opened 28 restaurants in Alabama since 2018.

The new eatery is located at 6950 US-431, Albertville, AL 35950.

According to the WHNT-19, the restaurant will open its drive-thru to start, adding online ordering, curbside, delivery, and dining room access in the following weeks.
